UNIVERSAL PRE-KINDERGARTEN

The Bay Shore School District anticipates providing a Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program during each academic year for a limited number of students. Eligible students must turn four (4) years old on or before December 1 of the school year during which the child commences the program. The UPK program is conducted at various sites throughout the school district. The program follows the regular school calendar, with two and one-half (2 ½) hour morning or afternoon sessions available. If you are interested in having your child considered for the program, you must register your child at the OFFICE OF STUDENT SERVICES & CENTRAL REGISTRATION. In order to facilitate the process, universal pre-kindergarten registration is designated during the month of March, according to the school building your child will be zoned to attend. The universal pre-kindergarten registration schedule for the 2010-11 academic year is as follows: Fifth Avenue School - March 8, 2010 – March 12, 2010 Brook Avenue School - March 15, 2010 – March 19, 2010 Mary G.
